Volunteer Opportunities  

IFFS’s volunteers enjoy an exceptional commitment to the film festival community and contribute to the continued success in delivering resources and programs to individuals and organizations who need it most. Our year-round volunteers assist us at programs all across the United States, Europe, in our offices, and at special events.

Anyone who shares a commitment to the future of festivals and independent film can volunteer: students (many of our volunteers earn community service hours and/or college credit), those interested in starting a career in film or events, experienced executives, retirees and many others. Our volunteers meet many new contacts from all over the U.S. and have an opportunity to hear from some of the most respected industry thought leaders.
